Today, at 4:15 PM, my grandfather passed away. And it's a blessing, really. He had no quality of life. He was just suffering so much, and now it's over. He's moved on to a better place now.

At the moment, I'm not grieving that much. But I know I'm gonna break down pretty soon. I know his passing was a good thing, but that doesn't make it suck any less...

He was a good man, and someone who I really looked up to when I was younger. I was like the son he never had. I know I could say more about him, but I'm not exactly a very wordy person right now.

May he rest in peace.

Well, my summer was pretty good overall, except for the last day. My computer where most of my photos are kept wouldn't turn on. And and after taking it apart and asking some questions, we learned that there could be many things that are wrong. So, I'm forced to use the downstairs computer for a while now. I do have some pictures I could post on this computer, just not as many as I had on my main one. Thankfully, most of my important things (mainly the videos) are on my personal media drive, and I can still access them.

Anyway, my first day of school went decently. For the first time at lunch, I'll be sitting at a table with nothing but my friends - no unwanted assholes. That makes me very happy. I have both on my math classes this half of the year, and thankfully only 1 of the 3 douche-fags from Trig last year is in my one math, and it's the one that's not as important. ^^ So, it doesn't appear to be that bad this year. And I'm glad about that, believe that.

And I'd like to ask those of you that are still going to school how it's going for you. I hope you are all doing well. That's it for me.

Fuck, I'm lazy. XDDD Well, I'll give ya an update on my life. I went on vacation towards the beginning of July and spent some time with my good buddy , then did some other cool stuff too. Since then, I've been to a tractor show and a car show. So, you might be seeing a bunch of new photos soon.

Also, I teamed up with my dad to replace some bushings and ball joints in the front of my car. It definitely made a difference in the steering. The old bushings left their mark, though. I need a new right front tire.

I don't make journals that often. lol How's everyone doing? Good, I hope. I'm doing alright. School's going well and thank goodness it's almost over.

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys would help me out with something. I'm looking for information on this car [link] , the American LaFrance Brutus. I discovered it through some youtube videos. It's powered by a 47 liter V12 BMW aircraft engine. I'm guessing this is a WWI to pre-WWII engine. I'm looking for any information about when it was made, what racing it was used for, history of the car, etc. I have some youtube videos of the car.
