This must be fun to drive. When that thing was in the engine rev contest, it shook my organs!!!! This photo was taken at the 2005 Wheels of Time.

If you want to use this for anything, give me credit and let me know. Comments and faves are always appreciated.

I agree with you. It's like 5 pounds of horsepower in a 2 pound car!!!!! Not the kind of car you can drive by a gas station with, if you know what I mean.

Thanks! I looked it up, and it turns out that the stock version had a 2 cylinder engine and could only go 55 MPH. I'd say this is a HUGE step up in performance!!!!!!

So let me ask you this: How does the driver see where he's going?

Skill is the destination.
The only road to Skill is Practice.
Talent is a horse, Materials, the fodder.
Skill is attainable without Talent, but it is a long, hard walk.
Skill is unattainable without Practice.

I don't know, but I did see someone drive it. I guess it's kinda like a slingshot dragster.

Vespa 400.

Built by A.M.C.A in France in the mid 50's.

Stock model for rebuild here in Italy in modest condition costs around 10,000 euros, if you can find one for sale.

Yours however is for sale!, I keeps on getting posted on ebay, asking price of 80,000 dollars US.

Extremely nice car either way... must have been nice to see it in the flesh.

Oh it was nice to see it in the flesh. The engine was so loud, it helped me digest my meal!!!!!! I would guess that the ebay car is a fake. A lot of people post cars on ebay that are real, but are not theirs at all.

It's been on there on numerous occasions? same seller, same price, for the last year or so now, there are always links to it popping up in Vespa forums.

Anyway nice way to digest a meal.

There is a little beauty a few miles from my house for sale, wish I had the money to buy it.
